The Greenwich Foundation only allows dogs that are on leads on site. This is stated on signs at the gates with an internationally recognisable symbol. Dogs should be kept under close control at all times and any mess must be cleared up by the dog owner. This is particularly important as site is open to visitors every day of the week and in the summer people picnic on the lawns and children play on them.
Cyclists may bicycle through the grounds on the dedicated cycle path which runs along the northern perimeter of the site, from the Lewin Gate at Cutty Sark Gardens to the Trafalgar Gate at Park Row. Please do not cycle through the College grounds apart from via this path, as there have been several minor accidents involving cyclists and pedestrians.
